Foreign Languages in Food Names

Nowadays, a trendy way of impressing people when you are involved in a situatioin dealing with food is using foreign languages in food names. For instance, there are lots of snobby famous restaurants which tend to use French or Italian entire phrases in order to impress rich guests. Today youcan learn how to do the same...

If you are dealing with Italian food you cook linguine, fettuccine, farfalle and rotini instead of noodles, macaroni or pasta (common terms). Don't forget to add the expression al dente (slightly raw) at the end. If you want to achieve a perfect level say it with accent and use hand gestures!

A useful tip is using the name of one particular food if it has its foreign name. For example, you are slicing baguettes, not French bread. You are sauteeing shiitake, not mushrooms.
