Braille System

In old posts, I have mentioned another ways of communication, like sign language. I insist on the idea that everybody must have the same facilities to communicate through a language system, either spoken, sign language or braille.

Today, my post is based on the last one, braille.

Braille system is a method used by blind people to read and write, this system consists of touching points withe blind people's hands.

It was created by Louis Braille in 1825 a blind frenchman who based on a method of communication originally developed by Charles Barbier in response to Napoleon's demands for a code that soldiers could use to communicate silently and without light at night called night writing.

Probably, most of you have gone to different bars in which you can find restaurant menus in many different languages (english,french,italian...) but, what about braille system? Do you find so many restaurant (at least in Spain) where they have restaurant menus in braille system?

How many times have you seen this picture? Many times or maybe never?

At least, there are some restaurants and bars (but very few) which incorporate to its restaurant menu in braille system.

Although it is not around the world because there are countries which is innovating on the idea of braille system, like for example China when this country was visited by disable people at the Olimpic games,2008.

McDonals's restaurants are united to this little step to offer to everybody the same opportunities

So, I only can only say thank to those people who came together to make the world a little easier for those people to whom the fate was not with their and they cannot see this selfish world in which not everybody has the same facilities.

And one last question, Is it too hard consider to everyone?
